I am pretty pleased by the outcome of my commercial endeavours on eBay. Purchasing seems to be a pleasure; until now — with just one exception — I was spared from any nasty experiences. After several small items that I ordered in part for my curiosity to evaluate speed and quality of shipments from chinese suppliers, I finally ordered some larger and more important stuff. The 433Mhz HC-12 SI4463 Wireless Serial Port Module is one. Two 10 MHz OCXO modules is the second item received.
I intend to use the OCXO for a 10 MHz reference and for some tests (educational purposes). The 433MHz module is mainly for evaluation: I heard from many sources that this is an ideal little bugger for DIY beacons and people swear by the fact that it can be used both for 2 meter and 70 centimeter bands; I have serious doubts that this is possible, so I want to test it.
